Hair comb and veil?

Kelsey, on April 24, 2017 at 12:19 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

Hey everyone! So I have a beautiful veil that I'm in love with, however, I also love the hair comb below (see picture) would it be okay to wear both? I am only wearing the veil for the ceremony only. Thanks!

I'm wearing both, and my stylist found a way to make it look like the veil was a part of the comb! I'm pretty excited Smiley smile

I don't want to be a copy cat but I love that comb. Can you tell me where you found it or how you searched for it? My veil is blush.

I'm doing both. I will wear my veil during the ceremony, and put the comb in for the reception once the veil is removed.

Yes! I ordered my comb and veil off Etsy (separately) and when I told the veil maker about my comb, she told me she could sew small loops onto the top part where she would normally attach a comb. That way I can just slide the veil onto the comb I bought. If you already have a veil with its own comb attached, you can probably still slide the combs in on top of eachother, but I would test it out with a cheaper hair comb before buying the one you want.

Is that comb from David's Bridal?

I am also doing a veil for the ceremony and cocktail hour and will do a comb (or some other hairpiece) for the reception.

Thanks KelseyH. I'm going to creep their website. My dress has blush as well. But feel like this comb matches the belt I got. Happy dance.

You definetly can do both. I'm not doing a comb but a piece that is woven in with ribbon and then will have a veil incorporated for the ceremony only.
