What is the typical price for hair and makeup for the bride for a CA wedding? Right now I'm seeing $500 for just the bride to have hair and makeup done. I want a very natural look for makeup (I don't wear eyeshadow - just foundation, light eyeliner, mascara - possibly lashes.) And I want something like this for my hair (not my photo):

Mine was around $300 for both in San Diego County. It actually wasn’t much more expensive than my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup which was $250.

Depends where in CA but $400-$500 for hair & makeup seems to be normal.

I paid $150 for hair and $125 for makeup not including trial. If I would’ve done a trial it would’ve been $90 for each service.

I'm paying $550 in Tahoe (CA Part). That includes hair, makeup and trial for both plus a travel fee.
Honestly, it was super expensive and this was still in the cheaper end for me.

500 seems on the high side. I'm in San Diego and found a mobile makeup artist company that charges less than 300 total for both. Bear in mind that a lot of MUA's have a minimum (it seems to run around 500). I'd keep looking

My Makeup is $250 - airbrushing, body makeup, lashes and a touch-up kit ), My hair is $250. Both are coming to me at the Bel-AIr Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. I'm in West Los Angeles.
