Hair and Makeup.

Hey, so I need some advice please!!

So I paid for my bridesmaids dresses because there was a deal for Black Friday for only $40 each!
However, now I don’t know whether to get both hair and makeup. I had originally planned too, but I’m just wanting to stay in budget and not over spend. My dilemma is that I have 4 bridesmaids coming from the UK. So I thought it would be nice to be able to provide them that. So what do you think I could do?? Maybe it could be half of their gift alongside some nice jewelry?

If you're not wanting to go over budget, then maybe you could pay for one of the options?

I'm planning on paying for my girls to get their hair done, but they're paying for makeup and I gave them the option to either do their own makeup, or have it professionally done. (the makeup look is very soft and natural so they would be able to do this on their own just as well)

Having that as part of their gift is very thoughtful and sensible since it's something to pamper them and have them look their best on your wedding day!

Jewelry especially to be worn for the wedding is not a gift. If you can afford to cover their hair/makeup, that is awesome. Many beauty vendors will give you a group discount. A small spmething that fits their individual interests/hobbies for use after the wedding is a great thank you gift. Stick within your budget. If one is into books, get a pretty blank journal or something related to a fandom she's in. If another is into baking, get a cookbook she might enjoy.

Totally agree- especially since you’ve already paid for their dresses. Skip the jewelry & get them something personalized. If getting their hair & makeup professionally done will bust the budget, don’t do it. I’m paying for mine, my sister (MOH) & my daughter (bridesmaid). My other bridesmaid wants to do her own. However, my sister & daughter are covering the tip.

I agree with a lot of the ladies here, I would try to pay for either the hair or makeup but not both if that is out of your budget.
