So I need to get my hair and makeup trial done, and since it is so expensive I figured i should do it a time that I wanted to look good, and not just waste looking good for no reason. So i was considering getting my trial done before my bridal shower...But then I don't know if I should keep my hair and makeup a secret from everyone till the wedding day. So I am not sure what to do.

Totally fine to do that! A lot of people get their trial done before their engagement photos so they can see how the makeup will photograph.

I had my makeup trial before one of my showers. My bachelorette party was later that evening so it was a real test of the staying power of the makeup. Are you having both done at the same place? I don't think people will remember what your makeup will look like but if you don't want them to see your hairstyle, just have the stylist take it down when you are done.
