Most guests won't notice or care. I find chair covers to be uncomfortable as a guest. I would say use regular chairs provided with a sash or decor on the back instead of a cover. That's just my two cents!

Like how "ugly" is your perception of the ugliness of the included chairs? Lots of brides think that, but once there are people sitting in them, any chairs pretty much disappear into the background. I agree with others that I really dislike sitting in a chair with a chair cover (they can be slippery stretchy material or too big woven monstrosities that result in excess fabric to trip over). When I see an empty room filled with covered chairs, I always think of little kids dressing up as ghosts.... Especially if the included chairs are dark colored, since most people wear dark colors to a wedding, the chairs will literally disappear from view as soon as people sit down. Daughter's venue included white wooden folding chairs for the ceremony. She really wanted dark fruitwood colored chairs, so we went ahead and got them. Honestly? In every photo of the ceremony the chairs are pretty much invisible.... Good luck figuring it out, but from a guests' perspective it probably does not matter at all!

I don't mean to be creepy/stalker-ish, but I looked at your profile page and your venue.... Are these are the chairs you're talking about? If so, I think plain they will look much better than with chair covers. Especially if you choose ivory tablecloths or another neutral, they really will disappear in the room -- they are pretty much the perfect neutral! Also, these chairs are SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than Chivari.... Oh, my goodness, your guests will thank you for keeping these! Good luck!

I'm being completely honest, you are WAAAAY overthinking this! Based on your concerns in the original post, I was originally envisioning lime green plastic chairs or something LOL!!!!! Your venue's chairs are awesome. I think they are much more classy & sophisticated uncovered, and I wasn't lying about them being a million times more comfortable than Chivari's! If I were you, I'd cross "chair concerns" off your list and move on to something more important and fun! Good luck!

Personally, I like the plain chairs much better than with covers, they are very neutral. But, if you really don't like them, your opinion is all that matters. Good luck!
