How many people will you be inviting to your wedding? How many people do you expect to show? I know for a lot of you never know who will come until you get RSVP's in the mail. We are inviting 125 peopl, would be surprised if 110 show up

We are planning to invite 178 but hoping only 130-150 actually come. Al ot of FH's family don't get along and never attend special family functions so we are inviting but know they will say no.

We have about 350 invited. Our venue can hold up to like 600 or something. But we are still hoping only 275-300 actually come.

    We're inviting a little over a 100, but expecting 80 to show.

We originally wanted 175 because our ceremony venue has a max seating of 175. Somehow it got up to 220 people and we had to trim it down some. I think we are at 172 if everyone comes. I feel bad trimming the list so drastically but I was also uncomfortable with that many people when the venue would not accommodate that many. I was told by family “they can just stand in the back”. Literally cannot happen, they would be standing on the stairs and blocking my pathway down the aisle. lol

My situation is very similar... We had a list of over 300 but only invited 250 guests. Most of them live out of state. We are expecting only 210. So far only 194 RSVPd.

Inviting 420, guessing about 300 will actually come. I'm told that 20-25% of who you invite won't come. We have big families!!

We're kinda hoping no more than 300 ourselves. The dinner gets expensive with that many people!

I have a Saturday night guarentee of 150 adults. Have 159 adults on my list so far with 4 children. We count as 2 adults. Hopefully won't have to do a B list and can have exactly 148 adults say yes. Anyone know what percent normally say no?

We dont have a venue set quite yet (pending), but our favorite holds 120 at max. We live in my home state of Indiana, but are having the wedding in his home state of Maine. We know a lot of old college friends and cousins I dont even get along with probably wont/ cant travel, so we are going to send out 110 invites knowing its likely we'll end up with approximately 75 there. We feel like those we already know arent going would appreciate the gesture. I know my grandma isnt attending in person but she is SO pumped to see the invites and whatever else I show her.

We are planning on sending out invites to 150 people. Some we know won't make it but most we know are a definite yes. 80% of our wedding guests will be coming from out of town so it is important to us to get a "pre-RSVP" RSVP so we could set up wedding blocks.
