Guestbook: Yea or Nay?

We’ll be doing a guest book ..I didn’t feel a need to do something different in this area. We’re doing a book to match our theme also.

We're not having a traditional guest book but we're going to have one of the guestbook alternatives where people sign the leaf of a tree and stick it on. We're also going to have a couple of Polaroid cameras around with an album people can stick photos they take in and sign. This wasn't originally going to be a guestbook alternative, originally I wanted a photo booth but Amazon had the cameras on sale on Prime Day and it seemed like a cheaper alternative. I'm hoping guests will take a picture for themselves as a souvenir and leave one for us in the album.

We want to do a guest book, but not a physical book... We have an old wood carver near us so maybe we'll get something from them to have people sign... I've also made guest book quilts for people in the past so maybe we'll do that (wish I had a better photo)

I did the mason jar and hearts that we can display. It completes our country rustic feel of our wedding!

Ready to sign!

We're not going to do a traditional book but something a bit more unique like a barrel lid (our venue is a whiskey factory) or something similar.

We have old records for people to sign, plan of hanging then up in our home

We will have a guest book, but want something unique! My FH proposed at a Star Trek convention and then asked everyone present to sign a movie script from the Wrath of Kahn. We will frame it and hang it somewhere. We both love movies,etc and our theme is Old Hollywood (30's-40's). I am thinking of finding a script from Casablanca (our first movie together) and having everyone sign that as our guestbook.

Yes but it came with the venue. I am glad now that we did it!

Oh, that is such a cool idea, Teresa!!! I love it and for the meaning behind it!!!

I am not quite sure yet. we may just have a "....Was Here" canvas board and let people just tag and leave us notes. This will be fun to go back and read later.

We are doing a non-traditional guest book of some sort! haven't decided what though yet!
