Guestbook Table

Jerrica, on June 11, 2019 at 8:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
I dont want it to seem like too much, but had a few ideas that I wanted to incorporate into the wedding, probably at the guestbook table. We're considering a canvas print of a tree with leaves where each guest will sign a leaf (I'll try to link it here). I also want to incorporate advice cards where people provide us with their marriage advice and an area for date night ideas. Any suggestions?

I probably wouldn’t do the advice cards at the wedding because that’s going to create a huge line at the guestbook table. It’s better to have something where people can just sign their name and move along. I would do the advice cards at a shower.

As PP mentioned, the advice cards would probably slow the line at the guestbook table down. BUT! You could put them at everyone's tables and have them fill them out during the reception if they feel like it. Smiley smile

We are getting s photobooth and they turn the guests pics into the guest book. I was thinking of doing the advice cards or date night ideas thing for while people wait or something like that.

I agree that you shouldn't have the advice cards at the guestbook table. BUT, you can have them at the individual dining tables with little jars or something and paper/pens at each table. That way guests can fill them out while they are sitting there (gives them something to do).

Cute ideas! I'm doing the canvas with leaves too. I do agree with the whole advice of putting it on your tables for advice to you - some people even make it into a booklet and at the front cover they put a table number on it so it doubles as two things. For instance they'll say LEAVE SOME ADVICE FOR THE COUPLE TO OPEN ON THEIR ____ ANNIVERSARY
The blank works as the # year and it would be the table # too
