Guestbook photobook- tips?

Elizabeth , on March 16, 2018 at 7:38 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10
Hello All!
I’d like to use our engagement pictures to create a photo book online (probably Shutterfly) and then use as our guest book at the wedding. Planning on leaving plenty of white space for guests to sign...other than that, does anybody have any other tips? I’m afraid I’m not thinking of something and want to make sure I consider everything before I order. Who has done this? Any pics to share? Suggestions for a clever title other than our names and wedding date?

This is what I'm doing as well. Even having black blank pages n letting guests use metallic shapes 😆 . I think it's adorable!

I'm doing this too, but in addition to the white spaces, I'm doing a couple of pages with lines and pictures along the bottom for those who are a little more traditional. I also included pictures from our entire relationship, not just our engagement. Hope it turns out well!!

I like the metallic idea! I have been wondering what type of pen or markers I should get.

I made a book from Artifact Uprising using my engagement photos, and bought Micron pens. The suggestion I have is to make sure the DOCs get people to sign the book. My DOC told me "people will see the sign, and book and do it themselves" but they didn't. So I should have stressed that more. My own mom forgot to sign the book.

We thought about doing a guest book but decided to buy a magnum wine bottle (dipped in gold) for everyone to sign so that we can display it in our house. I figured once we make the wedding album, the guest book would take a back seat or end up in a box somewhere

I would not use this. It will tske to long to dry and smear. I got a shutterfly book and did the flat matte paper and bought a "photo" pen from hobby lobby which is ment for writing on photos

I definitely think this is great advice. I've been to so many weddings where people just pass right by the guest book unless prompted or seemingly smacked in the face with it.
