Umm clearly you didn't read my follow ups before jumping to a snarky reply. I clearly said that I didn't care and that the dress was fine for her to wear. I had someone else mention something about it to me and I second guessed myself. So thanks.

Up to you entirely. It’s your day. Although I asked a bride once about a cream colored dress covered in cherries and she told me absolutely I could wear it I think it’s got too much color to be a big deal. But again it’s YOUR day!

I don't see an issue with it. I am pretty sure no one is going to look at her and you and try to guess which is the bride.

That dress couldn’t outshine a bride even if it were a beach wedding. It is bright and colorful. I will say if she had to ask if it was ok then something in her mind said it wasn’t ok or she wouldn’t have had to ask. I feel as long as guest don’t come in all white or trying to match your wedding party then it’s up to them what to wear as long as it’s appropriate and not too revealing etc it’s your day to shine all eyes should be on you. If your friend had to ask if she could wear it then maybe it wasn’t just about the white maybe the bright colors could catch eyes if your wedding is subtle colors. It’s your choice and that’s the only one that matters. It’s your day say what you feel!
