  Maybe consider something like a ring warming to get them involved. Asking your guests to make vows to you seems kind of cult-y to me.

  I wouldn't personally. By attending, theoretically they are pledging to support your marriage.

  Our officiant did that and we loved it. I can go back and watch my wedding video and tell you the exact wording lol but in the end they all had to say "I will".

  We’re having our guests place flowers at our altar as offerings and requesting a ring warming (I.e. they can set an intention or bless the rings as they hold them).
