Guest rsvp then canceled

I would not reach out. Things hAppen yes if they got sick Or a emergency came up they should have notified you. But I would let it go.

I'm not going to call them and ask them. I'm not going to get hung up on the actions of a couple people, when hundreds of others showed up. TBH, unless I was having a micro wedding, I doubt I'll notice if anyone was a no show.

We invited 100 people but 75 showed up... The 25 that didn’t show up had RSVP some of them had called me the previous night before the wedding telling me they couldn’t wait to come to the wedding .we end up losing $1800 On people that didn’t show up. And no they never reached out to me and I never reached out to them ...

The people who want to be there will be there. As the other poster said things come up. Absolutely no need to stress on no shows as it will cause you to miss the bigger picture which is marrying your best friend plus stress causes wrinkles prematurely. Yes it may cost as the count has been given to your caterer, however if there is extra food, have the caterer package it up and you and new hubby take it home to enjoy later. Y'all have paid for it and it's yours.

We invited 225, our final guest count is 120ish (we are waiting on 14 people to RSVP - I need to know 2 weeks out).

Invited about 250, had about 200 attend, with ~5-8 no shows. No i did not follow up with them about why they didn't show up. Things happen and I think you need to be understanding.
