Did you manually write your guests names on the wedding invitation envelopes? Or did you get it printed somewhere?! Need ideas...thanks; )

I'm actually going to look into getting it printed somewhere or maybe even handwritten (calligraphy) from someone on etsy. I've seen some really nice work on there for all kinds of things! Especially wedding related.

I got a calligraphy book and pen and envelope liner/ruler and hand wrote mine. I got a lot of compliments. I just didn’t like the labels and didn’t want to spend another $150 to have them printed.

FH has beautiful handwriting so he handwrote both inner & outer envelopes. It was too expensive to have them pre-printed and nobody really saves the envelopes

How hard was it to learn calligraphy? I'd love to do this!

To do it well enough on to sell stuff on Etsy: im not there yet. To do it pretty enough for my envelopes to look good: easy, just take it slow and practice first.

We hired a Calligrapher. She was amazing! She wrote the guest’s names/addresses and we used beautiful return labels front Zazzle. I believe she charged $1.50 per envelope.

We printed directly onto the envelopes for our save the dates. Our invitations were from Minted and they offer free address printing.

I second the PP on Minted!! We did free address printing for our invitations and it saved us so much time and hassle. As long as you have your guests' names and addresses on a spreadsheet (they even offer you a template), you can upload it, and BAM! Done.

We got address labels(avery) from walmart. All the address and names typed up on the computer and printed them out. Super easy and cost efficient and just stick them on.

I did calligraphy for all the names on the envelopes... I had to be extra. Lol. For the return addresses, I just found nice labels on amazon so I didnt have to write it 100 times.

I did this little tutorial for a tea party I was having a couple of years ago. People raved about my calligraphy, but it's quite easy and fun. Just give yourself some time. I'm doing this for my inner envelopes and will probably print clear labels for the outer ones.
