Guest List Anxiety

Anybody else have strange anxiety about their guest lists? We cut and cut and cut to get where we are. And there is no one on our guest list that myself, my fiance, or our parents haven't talked to in the last 4 weeks.
Maybe it's just because I really dislike wedding ceremonies, but part of me wonders if I'm "cool" enough to invite some of our friends.
Are they gonna think we're lame for inviting them? Like, we would love to share our day with them, and have zero problems having discussions with them. But the insecure jr high child that lives in the back of my mind is being a pain.Social anxiety is super fun. Lol.

Why would anyone think you’re lame for inviting them to your wedding?! I’m so sorry you feel that way, I can’t imagine why anyone would feel anything but happy to be included!

Haha. It's literally this dumb fear that the people we talk to all the time think they're too cool to come to our wedding. Haha.

I often overthink things like that too. The best thing is to go for it so you won't regret not inviting them later.

In a way I feel that way you do. Our wedding is small. All family. I want to invite 2 of my friends, they'll have a plus one, but i fear they'll be bored and leave super early. So don't worry, we all worry about this too lol.

I LOVE going to weddings and anytime I get invited to a wedding for a friend, I always try to go! I don't think they'll think it's lame! We have invited a ton of friends, and everyone has mentioned how excited they are they got invited and can't wait to come.

So much yes! I sent out save the dates yesterday and wanted to throw up. I kept thinking about a few people "I wonder if they'll think it's weird I'm inviting them! I'd like them there but what if they think this is weird!"
