Hi!


Just curious of how many people were originally invited to the wedding and how many people actually showed up? Whether it was last minute emergencies or people didn’t RSVP and just showed. I’m hearing that 10-20% of them won’t show for whatever reason just seeing how accurate that actually is.

    We had a destination wedding - Invited 240, and 140 came. We had at least 5 no-shows

    We invited 82 and 44 said yes. I’m not predicting no shows because of the low number but it’s still possible.

    I really did get a 20% decline rate. On my wedding day I even got maybe a handful of people RSVP yes but didn't show up

    Invited 181. 125 RSVPd. We had 2 adults and 2 kids no show.

    We invited 160, 142 RSVP’d yes... we will see how many no-shows in about 3 weeks!

    141 invited.

    83 showed up. (Would have been 84, there was an emergency 2 days before the wedding.)

    However, I would like to stress that my family threw drama, and therefore we were out anywhere from 10-30 people.

    We've invited 35 and so far we have had one person say no, two maybes (they're having a baby with expected complications) and a lot of people have verbally said yes but nobody has RSVP'd

    We invited about 170 people. We got responses from 50 couples, about 100 people. We are still missing RSVPs from about 35 couples. After phone calls, I think our total is about 120 people so far and we are still waiting for about 20 people to make up their mind. By the end of the week if those people do not make up their mind we will be counting them out! I'm hoping that we don't have any no shows, but we will see in about 5 weeks.

    We invited about 125 and had around 65 show up. We had 12 RSVP yes and not show up. We also had a quick turnaround time and so the invitations were short notice.

    We invited 113. We had 100 RSVP and 98 actually showed up. The 2 that did not show up let us know before the wedding day. One's father was sick and they thought he may die and the other had Mono.

    Just to avoid this same confusion, I'm hoping to convince FH to elope on a beach somewhere. Just me, him, and our kids going away for what everyone would think was a family vacay... I dream of this. lol


    I think a great tactic to use is to follow up with everyone individually over the phone, text, Skype...any means necessary to get a solid head count. It's encouraging to see that so many members had decent turnouts at their weddings.
