Guest book ink!

Jessica, on July 29, 2019 at 10:45 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4
Hi! I had a bunch of gel ink pens for guests to sign our guest book with, when I went to look through the book this morning, the ink is still
wet and smudging everywhere 😭 any suggestions to delay/stop this from happening? Not sure if the paper is maybe too glossy?

Maybe a clear spray coating from a craft store?

What kind of gel pens do you have? There are quick drying gel pens which I think would be better choice. Look it up!

Congratulations on your marriage Jessica! I hope you had the most wonderful day!

Perhaps some blotting paper placed carefully between each of the pages would stop some of the transfer and smudging.

Setting spray, as the pp mentioned may also work!

Thanks! I put some tissue paper between each page and just ordered some paper setting spray so fingers crossed! This seems like the only thing that went wrong during the wedding so I'll consider myself lucky!
