Guest Book for 200 guests?

Kaitlyn, on December 9, 2018 at 6:51 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

Hello all!

Our wedding is June 8th, 2019! I've been starting to look at guest book options. I'm not necessarily opposed to the traditional book, but I have been looking at more non-traditional options. The one issue I'm running into is we are expecting 200 guests, give or take, at our wedding and I'm trying to find a happy balance between getting something that can accomodate that amount of people while being something that my FH and I will actually use/look at in the future. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Signs and banners are popular it seems like

one girl has a canvas and their picture in the center

have you looked on Etsy for ideas?

i think my favorite idea from here was wood cut in shape of state

We had a painted canvas. Nearly 200 person guest list for us as well. Makes a nice feature wall in our home.

I had a guestbook and it was one of the things that looking back I would cut if I had to trim my budget. People did write nice things in it but honestly most people were dancing so much they didn't even get to it.

We have decided not to have one... we have a photographer and videographer so we will get to see everyone who went, and most people tend to give a card (sometimes with a present or on the present) with well-wishes. I also feel that people will be pre-occupied with dinner and dancing... so didn't want to spend $$ on that.

Hey Kaitlyn! I would look into types of artwork that you could hang somewhere in your home afterwards! That way it can be large enough for the amount of guests you have as well as double as decor for your home! I found an article that has some non-traditional options as well, I'll link it below!

I'm really looking for something non-traditional and practical too... I like the date jar idea, although I know many people do that at showers. I've seen puzzle pieces, which is cute, but doesn't allow for too much room if you're writing a message.
