I modified part of a poem that I liked for directions for my guest book, but I want to make sure it's clear what people are supposed to do.
"Words of wisdom, encouragement, or joke
a poem, drawing, or anecdote -
sign on a card and clip to a ribbon
it's the best memory you could have given"
Do you understand what to do? Or should I just be straightforward and say:
"Leave us advice, drawing, or message and clip it on the ribbons"
