This is the guest board we will be using.

For anyone who has used a guest board. Or just has advice.
Should i be using fine tipped sharpies or pain pens? In afraid paint pens might seep into the woodAnd what colors would even stand out on the wood?Silver and black?

I would ask the person that made it for you what the best pen is to use. The girl that made mine was really helpful and even sent me a small sample block so I could try various pens before I bought them.

I was able to ask her and she said fine tip sharpies. But im wondering what color would show up best?

We did a photo collage for our wedding that was on a weird type of paper. We tested several types of markers/pens. Sharpies work great! You would be surprised what they can write and stay on. Color wise...perhaps testing the colors on the back with small marks?
