Guest Board Placement??

Brittany, on October 8, 2019 at 2:07 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
What would be the best placement for our guest board at the reception for everyone to sign?? It's a 24x36 wooden sign, so it's rather large. I originally thought just have it laying on the table, but now leaning more towards having it propped up on an easel next to the table. Thoughts on what would be the best placement for people to sign easily???

Prop the seating chart on an easle and put it in a visible place for when the guests arrive. Doing this will lessen the bottle neck at the reception since some people already looked up where they're sitting.

Laying down is probably easier for people to write. I've typically seen them near the card/gift area or close to the seating chart/escort cards.

I think it's also easier having it laid down

Oops! I thought the question seating charts, not guest book sign.

That's tricky...propped up it will be more visible, but I agree with PP that flat will be easier for writing. Especially if it's big, if it's propped up you'll probably end up with a lot of signatures at the bottom and not a ton at the top. Can you lay it flat somewhere but with a sign pointing out that's where the guest book/board it?
