Has anyone used groupon getaways to book their honeymoon?

No but I'm using Expedia bundles. Took a little of the planning out for me. They grouped flights and hotels together for one price and booked that way. Not sure if it's totally the best deal but it worked out for us!

Ooooh. I didn't think to use that if you don't mind me asking where are you going and about how much are you spending?

I used it for a just a regular trip. We aren’t at honeymoon planning yet. We went to Italy. Two days in Venice, Florence, and Rome. The groupon included flight, hotels, trains, taxis, and breakfast. I am hoping we can find a groupon trip that works for us when we do go to plan because it was such a good deal, 1200 per person.

Awesome! I don't have any experience with it. Did you set your own itineraries? My fiancé and I are both introverts and not way into the idea of having to be in big groups the whole time

There were tours that were included (forgot to mention) and that was the only time we were with other people (besides the train) the rest of the time we did our own thing. Each tour was a couple of hours (we had 3, one in each city). But you can easily skip the tours if you want. They dont wait around for you to show up or anything like that.

And just for reference, you but the Groupon and groupon send you a coupon code. You take that code and go to the travel agent website (for us it was great value vacations) pick your date and enter the code. They handlers the booking of the hotels, trains, flights, and everything else for us.

We are going to Hawaii for 5 days, specifically Oahu! With the hotel and flights packaged together it was $2100 and then we are booking excursions separate and will have to pay for food but we are planning on spending around $3000 total. We're also going in January the week after our wedding which is a slower season so flights were a great deal.

Use Ebates when you book through Expedia and then they give you a decent amount of cashback which you could use as a little bit of spending money on your trip. I have typically gotten like $10 - $50 back, which is better than nothing. I believe Ebates also works for groupon.
