Hi Ladies do any of you have a Groomzilla😩😩😩. I want a outside wedding my fiance wants indoors because we are having a summer wedding! He is also not a big fan of our colors for the wedding! 😊

Can you guys compromise? Can you have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception?

I'm not sure that having an opinion qualifies as groomzilla...
Remember it's his wedding too and be thankful he wants to be involved. So many don't! See what you can compromise on and enjoy planning together!

Mine is with certain things lol. Its kind of funny because I never would have guessed he would be like that. I have not been too picky on the things he was being a groomzilla about so it really hasn't been that bad but we had to compromise on a couple things.

Our original plan was ceremony outdoors and reception indoors. It's 90% chance of severe storms this weekend (wedding) so we will probably have to move indoors. I'm still hoping to get some outdoor pictures though.

FH has been pretty good. He gets overwhelmed easy with all of this wedding apparently. He ordered vests and they came in small and he was in a tizzy about just not doing vests so I found some that worked. Problem solved. In a tizzy over what to get the guys as a gift, etc.. to me, little things that can be fixed.

THIS. My fiancé is the same exact way. He gets all worked up over any little thing that to me can be easily fixed lol.

I wouldn't call him a groomzilla, but my fiance had a lot more opinions on the season we chose to get married in, the venue, the timeline, and the music that is played than I expected.

How does having an opinion about his own wedding make him a groomzilla? Sounds like he's thinking pretty logically considering an outside wedding in July could be pretty uncomfortable for your guests.

My FH has opinions on pretty much everything, but I wouldn't call him a groomzilla by any means. I've compromised on a lot of things, so has he. The only thing we're really still arguing on is the fact he wants his pet chickens at the wedding....and I do not.

I wouldn’t qualify that as groomzilla. FH and I compromised by finding a venue that had lots of windows and natural light so that it felt outdoorsy but this way we wouldn’t be sweating through the whole thing in August.
As for colors, see if you can find something you both like.

I wouldn't say a groomzilla, but he's definitely involved! I wanted white flowers with lots of greenery, he wanted more color, we looked through sooo much until we found something we both like. I wanted it at a little farm we saw, him at a winery, we took a few weeks and worked out pros and cons and in the end, it's at the farm. Sometimes it comes down to if one of us cares way more, sometimes it's looking at the pros and cons and being open to change when your idea isn't the best. Be excited he's involved! I can't count the amount of fiances I know that know nothing about their wedding.

Definitely see if you can compromise. My FH is very opinionated and wants to be involved in every little thing, which is a blessing and a curse, and we've learned we need to compromise on a lot of things. He was adamant to have an April wedding, so he got to pick the wedding date and I got to pick the venue.

Not quite a groomzilla but he definitely has some opinions - there not many but they always are a bit painful lol.
    So far he:
selected the hashtag (I liked the other one better, but I let him have it).

decided to do our first dance to live music - which added 4x of his band mates plus their spouses to our head count (not to mention that we now have to accommodate a band and a DJ)

chose the bakery. To be honest the cake tasting at the bakery he chose was better, but the owner is very rude & I liked the other people so much more.

He wasn’t a huge fan of the colors & wanted orange, but I really wanted purple & he did accept that.

He did did try to book our dance class - but booked it at the wrong studio, so I had to cancel & am now dodging calls about coming into this studio to try it out. So basically that put extra work on me.

That's not a groomzilla. You should have made a compromise before deciding anything.
