Groomswoman and bridesman attire?

We had both a groomswoman and bride's man. The groomswoman wore the same dress as the bridesmaids and the bride's man wore the same outfit as the groomsmen. I had wanted the groomswoman to wear a black dress to match the tuxes the groomsmen wore, but my husband vetoed that idea. I honestly think it was clear enough who was what based on where they stood. If you really want to differentiate then you could have the groomswoman wear a different color dress or carry a different type of flower and the bride's man could wear a different color vest and tie or a different type of tie (long tie or bow tie whichever the groomsmen aren't wearing).

We had mixed genders on either side. All of the girls picked their own dresses in various shades of mauve and all of the boys (and lesbians...) wore the same dress pants, button up, and bow tie.

Can you put the grooms woman in a gray dress to match the groomsmen? And I’d have the bridesman be similar to the groomsmen but maybe a little more burgundy... like, are the groomsmen wearing burgundy vests? If not, maybe give one to the bridesman

That definitely seems like the easiest option! I just don't want them to stand out more than my partner and I in our pictures with our individual groups, if that makes sense. Seeing people's pictures is helping so much! I guess I'll spend some time on pinterest later, lol. Thank you for your input, Caytlyn!

That's what I was thinking about doing. I want her in the same style dress, but in grey, and then I'll add some burgundy somehow to my bridesman. I thought a burgundy suit coat would be nice, but it may stand out too much, too. I'm just all confused, lol. Thank you so much for your help, Gen!

We have 2 groomsladies. They will be wearing gray suits to match the groomsmen, but their suits are a slightly different style because they are made for women. We got them from the groomsmansuit.com. They also have the option of wearing a blouse with their suit, or wearing a button up and bow tie like the men.

In the last they aren't necessarily standing on sides. The best man is standing on my side and one of my bridesmaids is standing on my husband's side. Not sure how they ended up standing on the wrong side. You could definitely have the groomswoman wear the same style dress, but grey. That's what I wanted to do, but my husband thought a black dress would look like she was going to a funeral rather than a wedding. Neither of us liked the idea of my brother (bride's man) in a red suit because he would have looked like a young Santa Clause. It also would've been extremely difficult to match a red suit with our red dresses. If you want to have the bride's man in burgundy, I would try to match the suit as close as possible with the bridesmaids dresses. Another idea I have is that you could always have the groomsmen wear grey suits with grey vest and vest, but have the bride's man wear a grey suit with burgundy vest and tie that way he's the only one wearing burgundy without standing out in an all burgundy suit.

I had a brides man and he basically wore the same thing that the groomsmen did except a different color tie that matched the bridesmaids

A friend did something similar for her wedding. I was a groomsmaid wearing the same dress as the girls but in black to match the guys' suits.

This is from one of the recently married brides on here. I think this was beautifully color coordinated. The bride and groom stood out and the grooms woman didn’t look out of place.

Our bridesmaids wore navy dresses of their choice and our bridesmen wore navy pants, white button ups, suspenders, & bow-ties. We had 2 bridesmen (1 on each side) and they wore the same outfit. This is me with my crew 🥰
