My wedding is non-traditional as it’s a hockey them. My girls will be were dressed but the guys will be in our teams jerseys. I understand since we are requesting Jersey that I should be buying them but at the same time trying to keep budgets intact so I’m willing to buy the jersey to ensure I get the correct ones but I’m asking for each of the GM to reimburse for the cost of the jersey which is approximately $90. Is this okay to do or just completely wrong?

Jerseys a cheaper than tux rentals, so I don’t think this is unreasonable. Groomsmen are generally responsible for their tux rentals, unless they’re in a rare situation where the marrying couple can afford to take care of it, so yeah... make ‘em pay for it! 😜

Have a discussion with the groomsmen about budget! Find out how much they're comfortable spending. If they all agree to pay the $90, then I say go for it!
