Groomsmen/military attire

My FH has 1 best man and 2 groomsmen. One of his groomsmen is in the navy.

Our colours are lavender and navy blue. Originally our plan was to have bridesmaids in lavender and groomsmen in navy.

Do you think it would look okay to have two groomsmen (plus groom) in navy and our navy groomsman in his mostly-dark grey uniform? FYI, we already have mismatching bridesmaids.

I think it might look okay and would be a good recognition for him but wanted your opinions.

Disclaimer: Yes, he is IN the navy and the other suit colour IS navy.

I think it would look nice. As long as you and your FH are OK with it, thats all that matters. We have 4 groomsmen and FH that are wearing the navy uniform with black bowties with 2 groomsmen that are civilians wearing black tuxes with navy bowties. The civilians grew up with FH so they're important to him to be up there.

Maybe have him in the navy uniform?? That way he wouldn't stand out too much..

I think it's fine. I have uniformed military in my wedding parties all the time; I don't think anyone expects them to match, honestly.

My hubby wore his Navy dress blues and so did the best man. I definitely think you can pull off the navy colored suits.
