Groomsmen Tux

For our wedding, my fiance and I went in December to Men's Warehouse to pick out the tuxes. My fiance was measured then. I wanted it done and over with so we could across another thing off our list. In January, my fiance wanted to go with as many of the guys as possible. His brother was in town for a belated Christmas celebration so we scheduled for his brother, two friends, my brother, and my father to all get fitted. His best man couldn't come because he lives across the country and my brother and father ended up not being able to come because of work. So it ended up being his brother (groomsman) and his two friends (groomsmen) who met up with us and got measured. My brother was also getting married and my dad was his best man so when they went to their local tux store they were measured there and then they called Men's Warehouse to give them their measurements. It was easier this way because the closest Men's Warehouse to my brother and father is 1.5 hours away and they said as long as they were measured by a professional and called in with the measurements it was fine. The best man went on his own to be measured. My ffil is planning to wear a suit he already owns because he doesn't want to spend the money on a tux so he will be the only one not in a tux.

FH and I went 2 weekends ago to pick out colors and styles. FH got measured but he will get measured again in October too. They guys will call in between October 1st & 9th to provide their measurements and the place we are renting from will drop everything off at the hotel the Friday before. Most of our guys are out of state but I don't think guys really have to go through the whole "finding the right dress" process that girls have to. They also aren't buying something made to order like most girls do for the wedding so it doesn't take nearly as long.

My husband went on his own and picked out his outfit, and then told all his groomsmen what to get. He probably did this a month or two before the wedding. I played no part in his wardrobe selection (as he played no part in mine— figured that was only fair). If he had wanted me to come along for opinions and a thumbs up, I would’ve been happy to, but he was content to go alone.

Oh okay awesome! I am a little under 5 months out and I was starting to get worried that I was late on doing that lol seems I still have plenty of time to get the boys measured, thank you!

I am not sure if renting or buying is best, i will have to look into the pros and cons. I know I want them to wear navy suits with Burgundy bow ties! thank you very much for the article, I am gonna take a look!
