Hello everyone!! I’m having a December wedding and my fiancé and I decided to have red and gold as our colors. The bridesmaids will be wearing red but we’re having an issue with what the groomsmen should wear. Originally we were thinking a beige so that it wasn’t actually gold but something similar. We’re not too crazy about it so we were wondering if anyone had any other color ideas for them to wear? We thought of grey suit and red tie which we really liked but the decorations have gold accents and figured grey goes better with silver not gold. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Our colors were black and red with silver and pink as accent colors. I agree with you that grey would look better with silver than gold. I would have the guys wear black suits with red ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. Then gold could be used as an accent color for like jewelry, cufflinks, and decor. If you wanted you could always have the girls wear a goldish color shawl in some photos to give it a more wintery vibe.

Midnight blue is great with red and gold. And like black, is considered a formal color. And slate blue has enough grey to not have that patriotic blue and red vibe.

Have them in black! Potentially incorporate gold accents into cuff links, the boutineer, etc. I think beige is not good for winter.

Our colors were blush and gold and ivory, and the guys wore medium/medium dark grey tuxes. It looked good. Google or Pinterest "grey and gold" and you'll see that it's actually a really nice combination.

Our colors are kinda similar. mine are rose gold and burgundy. Everyone is doing both colors incorporated in their outfit
