Groomsmen suit dilemma

We found charcoal suits from tuxedo junction. Unfortunately though they were the most expensive ones 🙄 (Michael Kors was the only brand available in that color). But we ended up getting a discount through a bridal show we went to so it helped bring the cost down.

Try century 21 that's where my hubby got his. They also tailor suites from scratch. I was told it'll take about 6 weeks. My wedding's in august. You should still have time if you go with them.

My FH and his grooms men found theirs from the black tux (website) most of them bought their suits since it’s a very similar price to buying it the quality isn’t the best but it’s good enough the fabric is thin compared to other suits we have seen but we don’t mind since our wedding is in the summer. FH is also doing a charcoal color but he wanted to stand out so his groomsmen are in a lighter gray maybe you guys can do something similar

SIL's guys had a great experience with BlackTux online. They did measurements in our local Nordstrom.

Did the groomsman with the charcoal suit buy the suit or just get measured for the rental? I’m pretty sure that Men’s Warehouse only allowed rental for 3x days - so he might not have the suit & it could be a quick change. Men’s Warehouse (in my area) has charcoal tuxes, but they are really pricey $240.
In my area there’s also a Jos A. Bank that rents suits. I’m not sure if they have charcoal suits though.

If they are wearing suits and not tuxes, have you considered just buying them? We found amazing Calvin Klein slim fit suits from Macy’s. My FH looked AMAZING in it when he tried it on. We got them on sale on Father’s Day weekend and wound up paying about the same as it would be to rent.

My FH did buy his tux, the groomsmen were gonna rent. So now it’s a matter of if we can return a tailored suit. And I have been looking at Macy’s yes they have good deals

I looked at black tux and generation tux, ended up choosing gen tux bc they had the look we wanted. Customer service has been fantastic so far- we got a free try-on that fit PERFECTLY on the first try ( we just gave height, waist, and waist size). They have been really helpful with any questions we had, easy to contact/quick to reply.

Does the groomsman with the charcoal suit happen to be the best man? Say you did it on purpose to show his significance and roll with it. Burlington coat factory sometimes carries Michael kors suits. Might be worth a try to maybe find a match.

Oh that sucks. I thought about putting FH in charcoal grey, I think he would looks so handsome. But after lookign around and talking to all the men in the group who would need a suit, we decided on a deep black instead.

Yea I love charcoal, my bridesmaids are in marine blue so I cannot do black. But oh well we will figure something out. Maybe everyone will be in a different gray at this point
