Groomsmen Outfits--suit jacket vs. vest

I'm trying to decide what to do about groomsmen outfits for our wedding. FH and I had thought it'd be nice to be a bit more relaxed and have the groomsmen just in dress pants, vest, button down shirt, and tie (see inspiration photo below), but I'm starting to second guess finding vests that work for everyone. FH's father is his best man, and he's got a bit of a gut... What are y'alls thoughts? Can this style work for a variety of body types? If so, where would be a good place to find them? FH will wear a three piece suit. All will wear sage green ties that we'll purchase for them. Bridesmaids will be wearing champagne colored, knee-length dresses of their choosing.

We are going the same route and Macy's has a great selection in the larger sizes as well for this look!! The men are getting suited up tomorrow actually. I recommend purchasing the items all at once as well to ensure similar color, type, etc.

J C Penney carries regular and bigger sizes in the same suits.
FI also should check to see what length tie his Dad needs to look the same as the other men.

We did this for our wedding. The groomsmen included big and tall guys (one with kind of a big gut) and shorter guys. They were all able to find vests that fit at Men's Wearhouse. We decided to go the suit rental route rather than ask the groomsmen to purchase suits as none of them would ever use it again. My husband wore a three-piece suit.
