Groomsmen in different color than the groom?

I do not think it matters. How does your FH feel? Should be up to him. I think if the bridesmaids do not match the bride it is ok if the groomsmen do not match the groom.

I think you should do whatever you and your future husband decide. My fiance is wearing a dark purple velvet jacket while his groomsmen are wearing a black floral pattern jacket. The pants will all be black though. The jackets are the only difference.

Wish I could help you! My FH hasn’t decided on his groomsmen & I have decided not to press the issue! I do know he wants to wear a suit...

My FH has decided to wear rose-ish pink pants with a dark jacket and his groomsmen have the option of putting together their own outfits in either a rose-ish pink full suit or dusty blue suit. What ties them all together is the groomsmen shirts match my FH pants. Then they can “accessorize” however they like. They actually all match because everyone is wearing like colors, they are just mixed up. And then my dress is a very light dusty rose colored dress, so they match me too! FH loves bright colors 🙄 and our wedding is really about showing our personalities, he's just a little louder than me. I think you’ll be fine lol.

If you and FH agree to their outfits, that’s all that matters. My FH will be in a light blue suit and his groomsmen will be in black suits. They’ll all have burgundy shirts and silver ties.

FH suit is dark grey with a vest and white button down. Groomsmen and my bridesman are in black suits with white button downs. Shoes and ties are at their discretion. We think it will look fine!

My husband wore a black tux, and the groomsmen wore charcoal gray tuxes. We liked the slight contrast because it made him stand out in photos. You can do whatever you want!

This is my fiance's custom jacket. We originally picked a white tux with black satin trim but when men's wearhouse called us in to order it, it was no longer available unless it was custom ordered. So he was like, if I custom order a jacket, I'm gonna get what I want lol. We used the shopping spree when you rent 6 tuxes thankfully.

That jacket is GREAT, very Fred Astaire! I have a similar one in navy blue but unfortunately it's not custom. What an amazing choice, good work. (FYI, the jacket you went with is actually more classic than white with black satin. Traditionally a jacket like that would be all white. #formalweartrivia)

I don't think so, if that fits your vision of how you want your wedding to be then go for it! My FH is going to be in a light gray suit and the groomsmen will be in a dark gray.

We did this, my husband wore a light gray tuxedo, the groomsmen wore black suits with white button down shirts and royal blue ties. I liked the way my husband stood out in photos.

Yes my partner is wearing ivory same color as me. And the groomsmen are wearing burgundy suits with ivory suits to match the bridesmaids dresses. The flower girls are wearing ivory dresses with burgundy bow and the ring bearer is wearing ivory suits to match the flowers girls. So my opinion is our wedding we can have what we like
