Groomsmen Bow Tie Color

Just wondering everyone’s advice and opinion on the color of my grooms and groomsmen bow ties. Their suits are navy blue and they’ll be wearing red white and blue American flag suspenders. My bridesmaid dresses are a dusty rose. I’m considering black or dusty rose bow ties. Thoughts? Or other suggestions?

    I definitely feel like if they’re going to wear red white and blue suspenders then a black bowtie would be better than a dusty pink bowtie

    Yeah dusty rose and the good USA colors don’t really go together. I’d say black bow ties if you had to pick between the two. Otherwise I’d do navy bow ties as well.

    Hmmm, I missed that they were wearing navy suits. I’m that case, I’d say navy rather than black for the bow ties.

    I agree with Liz that navy ties would be better than black. You already have enough colors going on that you don't need to add black to the mix. I also don't think black and navy look very good together.

    Should the navy bow ties be as close to the color of the suit as possible? I’m just worried it’ll be off a bit. Is it common to have the same color of the bow tie as the suit?

    Usually the tie matches the bridesmaids dresses or the suit so I would look for a tie that matches the suits as closely as possible. But with the red, white and blue suspenders I don't think a rose gold tie would look very good. In fact, I don't think the red, white and blue suspenders would look very good with the bridesmaids dresses if you will be able to see them in photos.
