Groomsmen attire

Fashion advice desperately needed! So I am getting married this fall on October 3. I am really struggling to find a good color for my groomsman and groom to wear. I realize that navy is a typical fall choice, but I really don’t want navy in my wedding. I was thinking Shades of brown for all the guys to wear but I don’t know what would look good. Here are some photos of the Bridesmaids in their dresses shades of brown for all the guys to wear but I don’t know what would look good. Here are some photos of the bridesmaids in their dresses(there Is also a green dress and a burgundy one not pictured) and also a picture of my gown as well. I am concerned that my dress will be too fancy/dressy for the more rustic brown. I’m also concerned since one of my bridesmaids will be wearing a lighter shade of brown. I also have some photos of ideas that I was thinking of as far as the shades of brown. Any advice will be welcome. Thank you!

I think the pictures are pretty Smiley heart. Have you considered doing a tan/khaki color? You could always have their bow ties be there same colors as the bridesmaids dresses (burgundy/green)

What does your FH want to wear? I like the idea above for tan or khaki; I think that would complement very well! Dark brown suits always seem a little dated to me, not that it couldn't be done, but screams 1970s to me, Lol. I also think tan or khaki would look great with your dress - it is beautiful!

Maybe a more warm-toned tweed? Tweed always reads a little less black tie to me. You could possibly bring the colors into corsages, if you're doing them.Groomsmen attire 7

I wouldn’t worry about the guys outfits matching the girls. Have the ties, hankie, or ribbon of their corsage match and that would be enough. You could do brown and tank or khaki, even a charcoal gray would look good. Since all your girls are in different colors it might looks good to have the guys in different shades of brown as well. I think it would look odd to have one side perfectly in matching outfits and the other side in a mis match style. I also think that your dress will always be fancier than everyone else your the bride! It’s supposed to be nicer better fancier etc!

I think the groomsmen outfits you posted would look great with your bridesmaids. I’m getting married October 24th and my men are wearing gray because that’s what I felt like went the best with the teal of my ladies. Light gray shirts and darker gray slacks, and teal ties. Black shoes.

I would do black suits with a brown patterned tie. I think brown will look dated very soon.

I would consider a light gray. Gray looks great with everything, and you don’t want to be too match with the brown.

I agree- the grey will brighten up the girls' dresses and not everything look too monotone.

And I further agree with another poster- I really believe the brown/tweed look will look dated fairly soon. Colors such as black/grey/navy are easier to pair and are much more timeless.

Beautiful dresses! I love the rustic brown men's suits you posted and they seem perfect. I've lots of pics on Pinterest with a fancier bride and rustic groom and they look great. I wouldn't overthink it.
