Grooms wear

We are having trouble with the grooms pants. He tried suits on at men’s wharehouse but the suit pants are all so thin and slanky looking. Where can we find thicker suit pants? We will need to find a matching jacket for them as well. Also, anyone ever made a custom suit at this store? Do they fit better that way? Any tips and answers are greatly appreciatedSmiley smile

    Custom is usually better. Check out some smaller local businesses. Places with more selection readily available include Macy’s and JoS A. Bank.

    Alyssa, to rent or purchase? I heard The Black Tux is great. If buying, Jo's A. Banks has lovely suits. I have never dealt with Men's Warehouse. Best of luck!!

    SIL had his GM rent from Black Tux and bought a beautiful, completely custom suit for himself at Indochino. He lifts weights a LOT, so his arms & thighs are larger than the rest of him, so off-the-rack suits just didn't fit right. Custom worked out really well for him.

    I recommend against Men's Warehouse (they actually tried to convince us to buy custom as a putting FH is a horrible cheap ill-fitting rental, basically saying that was the only way things would fit right). We're using TheBlackTux for the men. If you're looking to buy you could also look at Nordstroms or Macy's

    I have heard great things about Indochino. They just didn't have the color that FH and I decided on.

    Yes! We ended up doing the custom suit from mens wharehouse and it turned out perfect! It comes with free alterations for life so that was a plus.
