Grooms tux color

Your FH should get to choose his attire just like you got to choose yours. Unless he picked your wedding dress, you shouldn't dictate his tux.

I actually think that gray would look good and be much better than tan (with your other colors). Gray can be thought of as a “dusty” black (lol). So it’s within the same color intensity. If not gray, then I’d say navy, because blue is already one of your colors. But tan is kind of outside of the dusty color scheme and would be my last choice of the three.


Are you wanting him to wear tan because you think it’s similar to your champagne dress? Also how deep of a champagne color is your dress? Any pics?

I’m not sure what color your BM’s dresses are but here are some pics with gray suits next to champagne-ish and dusty colors. I think it looks good.

My brother's wedding colors were blue and pink like yours and my brother and the groomsmen worn gray. I think the gray looks very nice. I actually don't like tan at all. I also think the dark blue would clash more than a gray would.

My dress was an off white with a blush/champagne ish color underneath. The guys wore grey and it looked great. I think it will look fine. Let him choose his attire.

I agree with sexy poodle. He will still coordinate with you & the wedding party without having to match you exactly.

Grey will totally match, esp if it’s a light gray. I personally think tan suits look really informal and am not a fan. You want to stand out in your champagne dress, and tan suits will match too much.
