Grooms suit

Hello I am getting married in October, my colors are burnt orange and a dark green, my wedding dress is an ivory which is off white. My mom thinks my grooms needs to wear the same color but he doesn’t like that color and everyone has been arguing about it and he is determined to wear a dark grey suit, my mother threatens she will make me pay for the photographer if we don’t go with the color she wants. Is a dark charcoal grey a good color suit with my wedding colors? I have had many breakdowns due to this problem and need advice on what to do and how to navigate all this?
