Grooms song

I never heard of this before. I’ve always seen it where the groom is at the altar already. Then the procession of parents, bridal party, bride. Maybe your officiant might have some ideas? I’m just doing the classic canon in D for the procession.

We had a live violinist for our ceremony and H walked down to a rendition "Here Comes Your Man" by The Pixies. It was important to us that he get his own special moment walking down the aisle, not just standing up there unceremoniously, seeing as it's just as much his day as the brides.

My FH picked out the song for him and the wedding party to walk into, just liked I picked out the song I will be walking into. He picked Je Fais De Mon Essentiel by Emmanuel Moire, Anne-Laura Girbal. It's a French song I'd never heard of but it is very beautiful. He lived in France with a host family for a while in High School so I wasn't very surprised when he picked a French song.
