Groom's cake display options

Kathleen, on March 2, 2019 at 11:55 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

We're following the Southern tradition of having a groom's cake at our wedding reception. My question is... for those of you who have done a groom's cake at the reception how did you have it displayed? Was it on the same table as the wedding cake? On a seperate table? I feel like it goes on a seperate table but I'm not sure what the standard practice is. Any feedback would be great!

I’ve never seen a separate table for the groom’s cake. I’ve always seen them side by side.

We’re doing a separate table for our grooms cake! Our wedding cake is going to be elegant white. But the grooms cake is fishing. We’ve decided to do a whole fishing theme for the grooms table

Hey Kathleen! It's totally up to you! Depending on how much room you have in your reception space, you could have the two cakes displayed together or separately!
