Grooms cake/ Birthday cake

We aren’t doing a grooms cake but I am surprising him with Batman peeping out of the back of our wedding cake. I can’t wait to see his reaction 😍

My husband's birthday is 5 days after our anniversary, so I feel you!

That’s a really dope idea! I’m doing a grooms cake as well. It’s going to be Star Wars themed, my FH loves Star Wars and I got a topper that says “ I love you to the death start and back”

It’ll be one of these two.

I was going to do a birthday cake for my FH as well because his birthday is just a few days before but his mom actually asked me not to. She was very sweet about it. She said “please don’t, it is a great thought but you two need to enjoy your day as a couple. We can celebrate his birthday later, let this be about the two of you and your love for each other.” I teared up when she said that and promised her that I would do something later for his birthday or maybe the weekend before the wedding. I haven’t decided yet. She knows her son and knows that he would feel the same way she does.

I love that groom's cake idea! One of the very first games we played together was resident evil, so I have bakery making him a groom's cake to celebrate. Also because he went with me on the flavor but I know he loves chocolate.
