Groom/groomsmen Ties

Adriana, on July 7, 2020 at 9:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
So my original plan was to have the groom and groomsmen wear tan ties and the navy was for my officiant. But now that I see them on, I think I’m leaning towards the navy for my groom. He is the only one wearing a jacket, the rest will be wearing the navy pants and a white shirt. My question is should I let the groomsmen wear tan and my fh wear navy, or get them all navy ones? (Excuse the wrinkly ties, I just pulled them out of the package. Also, neither of us can tie a tie so that’s why they look bad LOL)Groom/groomsmen Ties 1

Navy tie looks way better. The tan just blends into the shirt.

I think navy would be good for all of them.

I like the navy, and I like the idea of the groom having a different color tie. Are your BMs in tan?

My bridesmaids are wearing mismatched dresses. Burnt orange, tan, dusty blue, and brown. I thought tan would match all of them pretty well but I’m not sure what to do now.

I ordered these ties from jjshouse, has anyone had experience with them? I’m afraid if I try to return the tan ones they will take too long to refund me for them. I also don’t want to pay shipping for all new ties because their shipping is a bit expensive.

Have you looked at Azazie if you are interested in new ties? I just compared the two and the ties are the same price but the shipping is cheaper. We got my husband's tie from Azazie for a wedding we'll be in, and it's good quality. Also, I agree with others that the tan tie just blends in with the shirt. I would maybe opt to do 1 of the other colors if you don't want all the guys in a navy tie (although your fiance will already look different because of the jacket). Maybe the dusty blue or the burnt orange?

I like the Navy tie the best. For my wedding FH is wearing a blush tie to match my dress and the groomsmen will wear sage green to match the bridesmaids dresses. I think the navy looks more put together

I love the mismatched look! I think if it was me I would go with the navy for everyone, it looks very sharp.

Thanks everybody! I think I’ve decided to try to return the tan ones and go with navy for all.
