Groom/groomsmen shopping

I went with my fiance and his brother to look for their outfits, he wanted my opinion. I don't see a problem with it!

My FH and I are going this weekend to look for his suit and get some ideas for the groomsmen.
Later we will be taking my 13 year old son with us to help pick out what the groomsmen are going to wear. We are trying to get him involved as much as possible. He will be our model and a big part of the decision since he is walking me down the aisle.

My fiance is getting his suits from an online company. We ordered color swatches to make sure we were both happy with the colors but he coordinated all his guys, there was nothing that I needed to do. I think your idea is a fun one!

I went with FH and his boys because he wanted me to. He's not fashion savvy lol. It was great. If he doesn't mind you going then its totally fine. I think it would nice to make a full event of the outing.

Part of me wants to bring my bother with us. Even though he’s not technically a “groomsmen” he is going to be up there because he’s playing the guitar while I walk down the aisle!

My husband wanted to surprise me with his attire day-of. 😊 We discussed level of formality (suit vs tux) and possible colors, but other than that I let him decide on his attire and his vision for groomsmen. I did get to see the groomsmen style after he picked it, but didn’t see him in his tux until our first look. 🥰


Now, he was very involved in the planning process so he was aware of the level or formality of our event, decor and color palette. And he’s more stylish than I am. 😂 Do whatever makes you guys most happy! 😊

I went with FH and my dad to help them pick out their suits, then FH just told his groomsmen what to get. They were both really stressed at the thought of going alone, but I didn't end up doing anything other than giving my opinion on sleeve length. They didn't need my help at all, but it was fun to see them so excited about picking out their suits!

We narrowed down the looks we were interested in together online and then we went to the showroom together for him to be fitted and to confirm that we actually liked the looks in real life. He went with our dads and my brothers so they could be fitted later on.

I'm leaving that to be the guys thing to do together. I had my dress shopping and outing with the girls now he gets his suit shopping with the boys. I just told them what the girls are wearing and sent him pictures of their dresses and let them go from their. I'll only go if he really needs me to. But I would rather it be just the guys day and have them be able to have a nice little outing. Also I don't want to be one of them bridezillas who tells them what they're going to wear. I want him to be able to pick out exactly what he want cause it's his day as well.
