Groom suits

I’d personally prefer the blue suits with the Champagne Tie. I think it looks better than him being in a beige suit only

He's the groom so he will stand out no matter what. I would stick with one suit color but he could wear a different color tie and boutonniere which is customary.

I agree with Melle. I think it looks very strange when the groom is the only one in a different colored suit.

I agree with PP. My husband and all the groomsmen wore a medium tux, and he had a champagne tie/pocket square, while the groomsmen all wore light pink ties/pocket squares. He also had a larger and more elaborate boutonniere. I think he stood out fine against the groomsmen.

I actually really like the champagne suit idea! Would make for some really cool photos of the two of you, like the one you posted. Group photos would be unique but I don’t think too busy as long as your backgrounds aren’t busy.


But if it’s easier to stick with the blue suit, you really can’t go wrong with that route! I don’t think it will be a problem of standing out. Even those that aren’t familiar with the groom before the ceremony will be after seeing him stand front and center.
