Groom suit vs tuxedo vs tie vs bowtie advice please

Hi all! I would like some advice on what the groom should wear to our Golf Course wedding.

Dress is this:

We were thinking of a casual tuxedo or fancier suit.

Or mix it so it's a tuxedo but a tie or a suit with a bowtie.

Thoughts?

    Firstly, LOVE your dress!

    And I don't know much about men's formal wear. But I do know I'm not really a fan of bow ties lol. I would vote regular formal tie for either the tux or suit.

    My guys all bought suits. It was the same price as renting, and they fit them perfectly. I also hand made bow ties for all my guys. They were a hit.

    @Elphaba thanks for the suggestion. I'm not familiar with a waist coat.

    @Antonia he is planning on buying (Indochino/Zara/Bonobos make suits to your size). He prefers to buy something he can reuse again of course.

    Would a nice suit with a bowtie look strange?
