Groom seeing Bridal Portrait at venue

For the brides that are doing a bridal, where are you putting them? My biggest concern is the groom seeing it before he sees me, is that something to worry about? I’ve already told him where it is going to be and to not go over there. What is the normal way to go about this? I was planning on putting mine on the guest sign in table and the welcome sign will be on a easel on the ground by the table.

    Normally bridal portraits are on display at the reception, not at the venue. So it shouldn't be on display until everyone has seen you walk down the aisle.

    I definitely think that could work! I totally understand wanting to have it up beforehand, but this way you also get the chance for everyone to see you at the same time! And then can admire the portrait at the reception!

    I like that better, thank you! Where are some good places to put it? By the table seating sign? My cake table will be in a gazebo.

    I think both are great options! It will allow the the guests to look at it while checking other things out at your venue!
