Groom Gift

I'm giving him a watch he's been wanting for two years.

We've decided we're not doing gifts...we're getting married. That on its own is the greatest gift.

I was recently at a Things Remembered shop...they have a lot of ideas for groomsmen, bridesmaid and bride/groom gifts. You could look there.

Also not doing a gift but will be sending flower girl a message to give to him

on the big day.

Yeah we talked about not doing it too but its something thats a tradition as we see it so we want to do that just a small lil item and a sweet note

I'm definitely writing a note & already bought an adorable card. I'm undecided on gift. I'd like to get him something but really don't want him to feel the need to get me anything. (He's super sweet but can sometimes struggle in the gift department.) Right now I'm thinking of getting him a pair of RayBans. I've toyed with the idea of an Apple Watch but it seems extreme. I've also thought about finding an excursion to pay for on the honeymoon.

I'm doing a boudoir shoot in a few weeks and will gift him a book with a sweet note and a "cake" that has his favorite beers as the layers for him and his groomsmen while getting ready. If you wanted to get him a gift he can wear on the wedding day, you could do a watch, cufflinks, some sort of keychain trinket he can put in his pocket.

@pinkflamingo i think the card is key! glad to see your doing that too. I think i will write mine the night before the wedding though. What about you?

@sarah thats a new idea i haven't heard but like it!!! I got him a watch that matches his wedding band i can't wait to give it to him!

In addition to a personal letter, I know it may sound odd, but I'll be giving him a movie. For the last 5 years I've known him he has been talking about this near impossible (no longer in production) to find movie & how he'd give just about anything to own it. Took me a year and several wild goose chases to finally find a copy (it arrived yesterday!)... Im so excited for him to have it!

I haven't get my soon to be hubby gift yet because I'm still trying to find out what he likes I got him 2 watches one for his birthday n father's last year n he never wear them so idk what to get him yet but I will figure it out soon but I got all his groomsmens n my dad n FIL gifts for the wedding n I got all my BM's n MOB,MOG, Grandparents gifts too

Got my FH a gift and was going to wait until the day of our wedding to give it to him but it arrived yesterday and I was too excited I couldn't wait. Argh. I guess I'll at least do a card with a note!

My FH is a huge Cubs fan so I got two newspapers after they won the World Series and had them professionally framed.

I wrote a very sweet note and surprised him with a grooms cake in the shape of a pirate ship theme. We were married on a beach and our gifts for the gm were pirate based. (Pirate hat, captain Morgan, etc). He loved it and was very surprised.

My FH lost his mom to cancer 15 years ago. The whole family still misses her dearly and he proposed with her ring. So, with the help of his family, I found cards and letters with her handwriting and will be able to make cufflinks and/or a tie clip with her handwriting engraved, "lots of love, mom." It's not expensive, but it will mean a lot to him! I LOVE the movie idea too from a previous post - so thoughtful!

My gift to him is the red pumps I will be wearing. He was soooooooo excited when I purchased them. He said OMG now I gotta buy you something those are hot babe lol

We both work in the medical field so we aren't able to wear cologne/perfume most days so we decided to pick out a wedding day/special occasion cologne & perfume. We'll pick it out together so it won't be a surprise but it'll still be special for us!
