Groom gift

Courtney, on June 1, 2020 at 4:08 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 13
I am trying to figure out what to get my future husband on our big day. I thought about custom cuff links or a tie bar but he just bought him and his groomsmen matching ones...

I wanted to get some ideas because I really want to get him something special but I can't think of anything 😕 I'm obviously going to write a sweet note for the day of but wanted something to go with it.

Thanks in advance 💕

For she have any hobbies or specula things he likes? I bought my husband a few things....a personalized golf ball marker with our initials and wedding date, cuff links, a whiskey glass with his initials, a boutonnière pin with pictures of his parents and brother who have passed and of course a hand written note. I would just think of something that might make him smile and something he will use.

Do you want something wedding related or that fits his personal interests/hobbies?

Many stores are having great Father’s Day sales. My FH loves watches so I got him a nice MK watch to match his suit. You could also gift him a new cologne to wear on the wedding day. It doesn’t have to be something for that day either. What does he enjoy? Sporting goods stores are having sales. I know my guy always loves new sunglasses or a Yeti tumbler. I’ve even seen some people give socks and say “for your cold feet!” I think that’s a cute idea lol.

I would do something that he can use more often than just special occasions, so he can be reminded of the wedding more often! Maybe something with his hobbies or an upgraded version of something he uses every day? A new set of golf clubs, a subscription service, upgrade his favorite coffee machine, etc.

I want something kinda wedding related but as other posters have said I might try to add something that fits his hobbies so it can be used more... just don't know where to go without getting cheesy.
He loves Marvel, GOT, and star wars. Also is a huge football fan, Colts and UCF.
So im not super sure how to incorporate something and not make it tacky 🤷‍♀️

I customized a baseball with the portmanteau we'd made of our last names for the wedding. (I kept my name.)

We love baseball, so this made him a little teary (according to his best man).

Think of it like a birthday gift.

We didn't exchange gifts (we agreed that our honeymoon was our gift to each other), but a friend of mine gifted her husband a new guitar (which he then used to play her a song during the reception, which was just the cutest thing ever). I think gifts that are related to his hobbies are a great way to go.

How about something personal between you two? Early in our relationship I started getting my FH funny Boxers (Pringles, Sour Warheads, etc.) - Maybe have something cute and customized to symbolize your special day together that he could wear on your wedding day?
