Groom gift to remember his dad?

Marissa M., on March 11, 2013 at 11:22 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

My FH's father passed away when he was 17. He is having a difficult time knowing his dad won't be there that day. I wanted to get a personalized handkerchief or something saying something like "those we lost are never far away" or "your angel is with you today and always." Any ideas or insight??

I would check out Etsy, there are a lot of shops that will do personalized stuff for you.

My FH lost his mother about 7 years ago, so Im having cuff links made with his moms pictures in them so she can be "by his side" on our wedding day. Heres the link if youd like to check it out.

Maybe a photo of his dad in his pocket, his dad's cufflinks or watch, etc.

Or maybe one of the small frames that brides get for their bouquets on his bout? Or a picture in a pocketwatch?
