Love your dress!! And yes I think that would be good. I love grooms that wear something outside the very traditional all grey, black or navy blue! My husbands suit was a non traditional color. I love the purple. It’s super pretty

You could consider a cream colored suit with a purple shirt/tie. I think that would look exquisite.
