Groom Attire suggestions for beach elopement?

We're eloping on the beach this October in NJ and I was looking for ideas on how my FH should dress? I'll be wearing one of those long, flowing, beachy dresses with dressy sandals. It's not as formal as a typical wedding but I'll still look like a bride. A tux would definitely be too formal for him though. Thoughts?

Khaki pants and a white linen or button down shirt. He can do a tie or not, he can do a boutonniere or not.

We are getting married on the beach too (Maui), a small intimate wedding. FH is wearing a Tommy Bahamas shirt and khaki shorts, I am wearing a strapless champagne flowy wedding dress. We have one best man (FH Brother), and one MOH (my Daughter), we told them to wear what ever you like, keep it beach Hawaiian style, oh and you can not wear white. lol so far everyone is good with their choices. Good Luck. For us it was keep it simple.

It may be cool enough for him to wear a jacket. One of those tan suits would be nice.

Hey after being engaged for over a year my fiance and I have decided to elope this Friday instead of follow through with our set wedding date in Sept 2018
We pushed it back from June 2018. Last November, when we discovered that was pregnant. We miscarried our sweet Angel baby 02/18/18 at 13 weeks.
So we have decided to just elope, as we were already wedding planning thinking we'd have a little one in the picture.
We Are Eloping Friday @ 430 Pm
& although I am so ecstatic, ive been planning a big wedding.
IM NOT SURE HOW TO ELOPE, We are doing a Kiss & Go Elopement. Meaning, We Legit Just File For Our License, & Kiss. But I Still Wanna Have Flowers, & Look Amazing, I Don't Care, If I Get Dressed Up TO Just Kiss My Man. I Want To Look Amazing When I Kiss My King ♡ for the first time!
Anywho.
What do i wear to elope?
Can I over dress?
