Here is one of the dresses for my bridesmaids. I would have preferred both wore the same but my other bridesmaid is not a fan.

That's why I was leaning towards black too.

I'm not a huge fan myself, but it looked really nice with a black tux. I might just have the company make ties that match that dress color. My MOH is having difficulty picking her dress so I offered to allow it be a different shade to help her with choices. In that situation what color do the men wear then?

I think finding a shade of grey that won't clash with that dress colour would be trickier than you might think. I'd either do an extremely dark charcoal, or just go ahead and get black.

Also, what a beautiful and romantic venue!

I love the dress color and shades of purple idea (we did shades of blue and loved it)! H and his groomsmen wore charcoal grey suits with regular ties that matched each of the bridesmaids' dresses and everyone looked AMAZING - I'd def go either dark grey or black but whichever style tie your FH prefers!

First off: your venue is amazing

2nd: a very dark grey would be very nice and would go with the bridesmaids dresses. Just make sure it isn't the same tone as the dresses (a good way to tell if to just get the photo of the dress and change it to greyscale -or just print it in black and white - this will show you the tone)

My bridesmaids are wearing a similar color to that and the groomsmen will be wearing a dark grey suit

I think your venue is quite dressy, I would go with black suits and purple ties.
