Greenery

I’m having a hard time finding greenery for my tables. I want the runner/garland look but it’s pretty pricey. My tables aren’t standard banquet tables, they’re restaurant tables so there’s not a lot of width. The Costco garlands seem to be super thick and lush and I think would engulf the entire table. Any garlands I come across look too fake or too expensive. Do you think I can just get a bunch of greenery stems and lay them out so it looks like garland? Has anyone done this? Would that look weird? Pic attached of the greenery I’m considering.

Any suggestions welcome! This is the only thing that’s causes me to get frustrated! lol

Do you have any local famers or floral markets? Maybe a Sam's club or Costco?

We used Italian Ruscus, it's a lot thinner. I had the same issue, traditional greenery runners were too large since we had chargers & candles & flowers on the tables too! We paid around $400 from our florist. The best picture I have of our tables so far (waiting on pro pictures).Greenery 2

We put two long tables together to give us the width we needed. Once we added the linens, garlands, and candles you couldn't tell they were two tables. As far as getting greenery stems and laying them out, yes I think that is a great alternative to buying garlands. You're right about garlands being pricey. They are priced by the foot and range in price anywhere from $15-$30 per foot.

Try the Dollar Tree (I purchased some Garlands from there, put them together, and added my decorations.
